@classmethod python

So out of no where i get this NameError stating that cls is not defined even though I'm not asked to define it

database = SqliteDatabase(':memory:')

class User(Model):
    email = CharField(unique=True)
    password = CharField(max_length=100)

    @classmethod
    class new(cls, email, password):
        pass

You are very close. The classmethod is a method defined using def not class:

    @classmethod
    def new(cls, email, password):
        pass
