Closures

I got sucked at the second part. I have already assigned difference as a constant and the code compiles nicely in Xcode but I still can't get through this assignment. Can someone help? Sorry.

higherOrderFunctions.swift
/**
  For this code challenge, let’s define a math operation as a function that
  carries out some work on two integers and returns an integer as well. An
  example is the function below, `differenceBetweenNumbers`, which takes two
  integers and calculates the difference between the numbers. After calculating,
  it returns the difference.
*/

func differenceBetweenNumbers(a: Int, b:Int) -> (Int) {
  return a - b
}

// Enter your code below
func mathOperation (differenceBetweenNumbers:(Int, Int) -> Int, a: Int, b: Int) -> (Int){
    return differenceBetweenNumbers (a, b)

}

let difference = mathOperation(differenceBetweenNumbers, 1, 2)

You shouldn't have the differenceBetweenNumbers function inside the parameter for your mathOperation function. Try this instead:

func mathOperation(a: Int, b:Int) -> (Int) {
  return a + b // This can be any operation: +, -, /
}

And remove the last statement, since the instructions don't ask you to create a variable with your function.

Hope this helps!

Sorry the question to the second part is as below:

"Using the differenceBetweenNumbers function as an input to mathOperation, compute the difference between any two integers and assign the result to a constant named difference."

That was why I assigned the constant difference.
