I'm working with ruby on rails basic application, as shown in video i have run code: rvm use 1.9.3 it's run sucessfull, bt when i run : rails new treebook it's don't creat any file. and it's give erro of :-" Can't initialize a new Rails application within the directory of another, please change to a non-Rails directory first. Type 'rails' for help." i want know how to create this new treebook? 2nd question is what is .gitkeep? where it's use?

cd ..

This will move you one directory up and you should be able to make a new app there.
