Coding iOS Apps in many different languages?

When creating a new file for your Xcode Project, you can choose from Swift, Metal, Objective C, C, C++, etc.

Why is this and why are other languages often used in iOS Apps.

Why can you code with them for the same app and what is the advantage of coding in different languages.

There are only two languages for coding IOS apps objective C and Swift
