Command line

I'm using Windows Linux subsystem now, and I remember a course with a guy in a lab coat using Linux commands. Is that still available? I wanted to practice with it. Thanks! (ok, I just realized the new course offers the same thing, I believe. Still, is that older course still around? It was kind of fun:));

You're talking about the Console Foundations course, which is scheduled to be retired in just a few days. You have until then to download the videos if you want to have them to watch after the course is retired.

I hope they don't get rid of my favorite part of that course, the entire virtual machine you get to practice on. That continues to be a valuable resource well after finishing the course.

Yes, it is great. The VM is also accessible without a membership, which is nice, but probably too nice to last. Great, unique course. Do you think it covers anything that isn't covered in the newer command line course? Thanks for your reply, Steven.

I don't recall the contents well enough, but if you're about to review the original course yourself perhaps you'd be able to determine the difference yourself.

Happy coding!
