HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Getting Familiar with HTML and CSS Building Web Pages with HTML and CSS

Comment on first video in the introduction to HTML and CSS course.

My "frown face" comment on the first video is related to 2 things:

When Treasure shows the hex code for the "light gray" color, on the screen it shows #e2e2e2, but on the workspace it shows #efefef. You can still navigate properly with the code line numbers, but it's confusing.

Also, in the first video, I didn't hear any mention of "saving" the workspace file to apply changes. I was certain I had changed the correct things, but nothing was happening. The second video mentioned the save, though, and suddenly everything worked. This might be a bit off-putting to other users, and if this kind of slip happens in larger contexts, could be really hard to figure out. I know that it's time consuming to shoot video and that sometimes things change between start and finish, also that I may not be the first person to mention it.

Thanks!

This is a great insight, Henry Spock , and one that should helpfully get a few students "unstuck"! We'll work on updating this content to make it a little more clear for new users who may not have worked with workspaces before. Thanks for your feedback :-)
