compile error: override onPause

My code here keeps getting compile error.

@Override protected void onPasue() { super.onPause(); mEditor.putBoolean(KEY_CHECKBOX, mCheckBox.isChecked()); }

./MainActivity.java:19: error: method does not override or implement a method from a supertype @Override ^ 1 error

MainActivity.java
import android.view.View;
import android.os.Bundle;

public class MainActivity extends Activity {

  public CheckBox mCheckBox;
  static final String PREFS_FILE = "123";
  static final String KEY_CHECKBOX = "456";
  SharedPreferences mSharedPreferences;
  SharedPreferences.Editor mEditor;
  @Override
  protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
    mSharedPreferences = getSharedPreferences(PREFS_FILE, Context.MODE_PRIVATE);
    mEditor = mSharedPreferences.edit();
    mCheckBox = (CheckBox) findViewById(R.id.checkBox);
  }
  @Override
  protected void onPasue() {
     super.onPause();
     mEditor.putBoolean(KEY_CHECKBOX, mCheckBox.isChecked());
  }
}

It isn't compiling because of a simple spelling error, or did you intend to override the onPasue method? :P
