PHP

Composer and Workspaces Problem

I'm going through the "Building Websites With PHP" track and am on the "Autoloading" section. I successfully downloaded monolog and now we are to the part of instantiating it and I'm not getting the same results in the preview as Hampton is in the tutorial. I get a blank screen. I don't even get the Hello World part.

Here is my code.

require '/vendor/autoload.php';

$log = new Monolog\Logger('name'); $log->pushHandler(new Monolog\Handler\StreamHandler('app.txt', Monolog\Logger::WARNING)); $log->addWarning('Foo');

echo 'Hello World!';

I removed the forward slash from "require '/vendor/autoload.php';" so it would be "require 'vendor/autoload.php';" but that still didn't make it work.

hi Alessandra, you could use "tracy" to check what's wrong.

$ composer require tracy/tracy

include it on top of your code and see what's missing

use Tracy\Debugger;

Debugger::enable();
