computing the sum

I'm having a little issue with understanding what they are trying to say

while.swift
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

// Enter your code below
while counter < numbers.count{
sum+=numbers[counter];counter++}
sum = sum + newValue

Basically, you are trying to use a loop to find the sum of all the numbers in the array numbers. You almost got it. Just get rid of that last line of code:

while counter < numbers.count {
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter++
}
