concatenating

I can't seem to figure out what I am doing from here when concatenating the Array. Or is concatenating something else then using 'append'? Any help?

array.swift
// Enter your code below
var arrayOfInts = [1,2,3,4,5,6]
arrayOfInts.append(7)
arrayOfInts.append(8)
arrayOfInts

Concatenating is indeed different from using append. Concatenation is when you add two things together using the + operator. In swift two arrays can be concatenated together like this:

arrayOfInts = arrayOfInts + [8] // This adds 8 to the arrayOfInts array.
arrayOfInts += [8] // This is shorthand that performs the same operation as above

Both of the lines above show examples of concatenation a value to an array, the second line shows a shorter way of doing it but they are both valid techniques.
