confused as to what I'm missing here. looked at the hints and couldn't figure it out either. Any tips? Thanks.

Hi Andrew,

The issue is on the msg variable. You don't need the parentheses. And you were missing two "+" signs.

let msg = firstName + " " + lastName + ": " + role ;
