Well, if you've never done Database Foundations before, I suggest you start there. User login and authentication will require database work with mySQL or maybe even SQL Server. Those files will rest in your web server or local host. The tutorial should explain how to link this up to your PHP pages.
This tutorial should cover all of this but as i say I haven't really given it a proper look. :-)

Ill look at it again, maybe i read it bad or something. I just really need to learn this : p
