Python Python Collections (Retired) Dictionaries String Formatting with Dictionaries

Confusion in the unpack dictionary challenge

Can someone look over my code below, tell me my general mistakes, and explain how to fix?

strings.py
def string_factory(dicts, string):
  dicts = [
      {'name': 'Michelangelo',
      'food': 'PIZZA'},
      {'name': 'Garfield',
      'food': 'lasanga'},
      {'name': 'Walter',
      'food': 'pancakes'},
      {'name': 'Galactus',
      'food': 'worlds'}
  ]

  string = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"
  new_list = []
  for my_dict in dicts:
    string.format(**my_dict)
    new_list.append(my_dict)
  return new_list

two errors. Need to define the function, and need to used the formatted string in the append:

def string_factory(dicts, string): # <-- add func def
    new_list = []
    for my_dict in dicts:
        # need to append formatted string
        new_list.append(string.format(**my_dict))
    return new_list

Got it. Thanks Chris!
