console not loading? I m using windows 7

How are you trying to open the console?

when i click on button for launch console, it displays "We are setting up your computer" and then next nothing happens.

Sorry - I hadn't realised it was a Treehouse one. That console can take a little bit of time to get working.

If it just won't work, it might be worth trying to clear any cache, restart the browser etc. There's not much more you can do, to be honest! Are you getting warnings about a pop-up blocker or malware catch?

I cleared cache, restarted my browser but console still doesn't work. it just loading and loading!

Hi Steve. I did not email support yet. I did erase browser cache, reloaded, refreshed, everything. It does not work :( At the moment I am following along with notepad and paper.

I had sent support ticket but problem still remains!

I have emailed support with a link to this thread. Can you post in here what browser you are using, whether you have tried any other browsers and any other system info that might be of use?

Have you checked that pop-up blockers are allowing the page to create pop-ups?

I hope Support will get back to us early next week.

Hi all. I got around it by downloading Git for Windows and using bash that comes with it. I will still email Support in hopes that it gets resolved for future Windows 7 users. Thanks for your help Steve Hunter!
