Convenience Initializers

Instead of creating convenience initializers, can't you just set default values for the stored properties in that particular class? So whenever you create an instance of that class, you just have to enter the values that you need to enter. Doesn't this serve the same purpose of a convenience initializer?

I found this on the Apple Documentation page:

"Create convenience initializers whenever a shortcut to a common initialization pattern will save time or make initialization of the class clearer in intent"

Hope that helps :)
