Convert int to float

I try to convert int to float, but it does not work.

trial.py 
def add(float(num1),float(num2)):
    return um1+num2
ad = add(1,1)
print(ad)

You can't put code inside the parameter declarations of a function. Only the parameter names can go there.

But you can perform float conversions inside the function body.
