Counter

Hi! I don't know how to make a counter which returns the number of tiles with a specific character. I started creating it, but it returns the number of all tiles. Please help.

   return mHand;

In the for loop you need to check that letter is equal to tile, before you increment the counter.

public int getTileCount(char tile){
    int count=0;
    for(char letter:mHand.toCharArray()){
        if(letter == tile) {
            count++;
        }
    }
    return count;
}
