iOS Build a Playlist Browser with Swift Refactoring Our Code Passing Playlist Objects Using Segues

Couple of questions

Hi all,

Got a couple of questions I was hoping to clarify:

1.) Can someone explain to me why we need to unwrap the "sender" object in the code below? I believe this is the first time we've seen this syntax in the course.

let playlistImageView = sender!.view as! UIImageView

Why can't it be:

let playlistImageView = sender.view as! UIImageView ?

2.) When using the find() function, how come we don't need to call the 2nd parameter by name

e.g. find(playlistsArray, index: playlistImageView)?

Thanks!
