Development Tools Setting Up GitHub and GitHub Desktop

CPU and GitHub Desktop

I'm going to take a shot that somebody can help here. After downloading GitHub Desktop my CPU spikes up to 67% sometimes and goes down to around 30%. Any remedies for this? I'm running on Windows 10.

If you are using Windows, then there are some better GUI git clients like "git for windows" or "Tortoise Git".

If you are using Linux or OSX, there are some command-line clients. There are also GUI clients, but I don't know which they are off the top of my head.
