JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Create a max() Function

Create a max() function

I don't even know where to begin.

script.js
function max (x, y) {

  if (x>y) {
    return true;
} else {
 return false;
}
}

You're very close! Instead of returning true or false, they want you to return the larger of the two numbers. In other words, if x is greater than y then return x, else return y.

function max (x, y) {

  if (x>y) {
    return x;
} else {
 return y;
}
}
