CREATE keyword in MySQL

from the Database Fundamentals course, i can't seem to get the "CREATE SCHEMA" command to work (e.g., the code challenge box says I need to retry). Here's my exact code:

CREATE SCHEMA movie_db ;

I'm using backticks (`) instead of single quotes. I'm re-reading this documentation about MySQL 5.6 -- does anyone see my typo?

Try CREATE DATABASE movie_db; or indeed CREATE SCHEMA movie_db; - both seem to work for me.
