Css Stylesheet not applying to HTML code.

For some reason my style sheet does not seem to be working correctly with my html. Any ideas?

it looks like you have a colon instead of equal sign in your HTML file stylesheet link:


but it should be:


On another note, your code would be easier to read if you formatted it when adding your question. There is a markdown cheatsheet under the text area field where you can check how to format your posts.

From what I can see, there is a tiny mistake with your code:

<link rel="stylesheet" href:"css/style.css">

Replace : with = sign after href so it should look like this

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/style.css">
