css-loader error REACT

I am having an error at this step of the course, when i type npm start I get this error in the terminal:

ERROR in ./~/css-loader!./css/style.css Module build failed: ReferenceError: Promise is not defined

my version of node is: v0.10.40

maybe the issue comes from this?

I tried to upgrade node it looks successful when I do so but when i type node -v i still get the same version v0.10.40

Any help?

Thanks!

Yes, the issue is that your node is outdated. Promises are an ES6 feature but your version to too old to have implemented them. I'd suggest uninstalling the v0.10 version and see if that helps.
