The latest installment of Database Foundations is up, it's called Securing and Maintaining a MySQL Database.
You lean how to make your queries faster by creating indexes. Making and restoring backups of your database which should ensure you're prepared for a catastrophic failure, such as a hard drive crash or data corruption.
We’ll cover some security considerations you should be aware of when setting up a database.
I'm moving on to some other topics for the mean time but if you want more database material let us know.

Also, for those interested in continuing on with learning more about databases, coursera has a free introduction to databases course. It is a self study course so you can go at your own pace.
