Design Inspiration for a Mortgage/Financial Website

Hey everyone,

I am trying to re-do my family's mortgage business website and was wondering if anyone had some good resources or examples of good simple design in the financial industry (particularly mortgages). To date, this industry has been pretty notorious for horrible web design and awful usability and I think that having a great website for all devices would set us apart from the competition. We are also trying to make this site very user friendly and approachable to inform and teach clients exactly how their mortgages work. We are thinking that interactive elements like calculators and adjustable graphs are a good way to engage and teach.

Any examples would help a ton! It could be anything - example websites, interesting interactive elements, websites with great color design etc. The only goal here is to gain some inspiration to get the ball rolling. Thanks for the help in advance!

Pinterest and Dribble are great places. I'll also look through places like Theme Forest at their templates just for inspiration purposes.

Good luck!
