Desktop Server

Am i suppose to use desktop server or not?? One video says completely different things about how to download and use WordPress.

Hello Joseph,

this is most debatable question. Does not exist only one method how can use WordPress on local machine and every developer use different environment. Find what is best for you. You can use MAMP, WAMP, XAMPP, DesktopServer or what I personally prefer Laravel Valet. For downloading WordPress you can use WP-CLI or manual download from WP site.
