Did i miss something? does adding a subtraction symbol to the left of a container make it a negative version of this?

I've watched the video a few times and this is not mentioned. It appears in the final quiz for this section

What is the value of totalScore?

var totalScore = -levelScore 

totalScore= -100

Yes it does; that will assign the negative value of levelScore into totalScore.
