Difference between fixed and local background attachments

Hi Guys!

Quick question: I've been following along Guil's excellent course and although I understand what fixed and local background attachments do in CSS, I was wondering in what context would you use them in real world projects.

Maybe because I am a newbie, I cannot really tell the difference! Can anyone give me any examples please?

Cheers!

Hi Karl,

I have dug around and found a pen here that shows of normal and fixed backgrounds. The first instance is quite common in designs now as its on line of css for a cool feature :)

Hope this helps!

Craig
