Difference between print and document.write()?

We have been introuduced to this new print statement however I am unsure on the difference between this and document.write().

Thanks, James.

Hi James,

In the video dave just makes a function and names it print. He could have just as well named it printSomeStuff, or displayOutput, or whatever. Its just an easy function name to use. Inside of it he uses document.write() method to tell JavaScript to actually write something to the document. Print is not a JavaScript method, just a name used for a function.
