Python Customizing Django Templates Building Custom Filters Chaining Filters

difference between "word_count" and "wordcount"

"word_count" was given as a parameter in course_extras.py but why did "wordcount" is used in template?

1 Answer

"word_count" was just a place holder in our function when we were creating time_estimate filter. "wordcount" is a Django made filter that returns the integer that would be passed into our "word_count" place holder in our function to return our estimated time. Hope I helped!
