I was wondering if I could get the an answer to this question/quiz. I just can not figure it out.

Hi Paul:

You want to create a button and set its ng-click attribute to the expression of setting name to 'Treehouse'. So:

<button ng-click="name = 'Treehouse' ">Update Name</button> 

Note that you only need to write name and not $scope.name, because this is inside of myController, so name maps to $scope.name on myController.
