disemvowel challenge in Python Collections - not working

Hi, I can't get my code to work the way the system want. The code do work on another editor.

Here's my code:

def disemvowel(word):
  vowels  = ["a", "e", "i", "o", "u"]
  for letter in vowels:
    if letter.lower() in word or (letter.upper() in word):
      word.remove(letter)
  return word

I solved it.

def disemvowel(word):
  word = list(word)
  vowels  = ["a", "e", "i", "o", "u"]
  for letter in vowels:
    if letter.lower() in word or (letter.upper() in word):
      word.remove(letter)
  word = "".join(word)
  return word
