Django DateTimeField

How do I order datetimefield just to order by Date only yet both are linked, do I need to change the fields just timefield, and datefields only

Chris Freeman was trying by date and time, but just cannot work this out nothings working. also sorry for late reply my internet has been down in the UK for a few days.
