243,656 PointsRegardless of the type of selector, any CSS can go into a new file, an existing file, in a <style> element on the page, or into a style property of a specific element. The choice of placement would be based on other design factors such as format consistency, maintainability, redundancy reduction, etc. but not the content of the rule itself.
