Do I need to download Cpanel?

Why does this course assume that people know what Cpanel is? How do I access it? I tried downloading it but not sure what to do here.

I accessed it by typing my domain name/cpanel. But now I can not log in. I tried the login information from the email from the domain hosting service but it is not working.

Cpanel is very common software you'll find that web hosts install on their server, to give you a spot to manage your website on their server. Plesk is another option you'll see around.

Cpanel is not something you download, rather just use. If you're having trouble logging into your cPanel dashboard, contact your web host support team, and they should be able to help you.

So Cpanel is something I need to open through Web hosting for students?

Yes, you would log into your webhostingforstudents account and would access cpanel through that.
