Do you have to use the Web Hosting for Students, or can we use something like Namecheap?

I already have a doman name registered with Namecheap - can I just use that for hosting as well?

yes you can use namecheap or whatever you like for hosting. however webhostingforstudents is very cheap, so thats one factor you should take into account. When you sign up for webhostingforstudents, it will ask you if you already have a domain or if you would like to buy one. You would just select the box that says you already have one and go from there
