does not login using microsoft edge

Hello, I have been following your guide on a php authentication system however it doesn't work using Microsoft edge, internet explorer or safari on a IOS device.

I can login using chrome and firefox. However when I login in using the others i have the message saying i have logged in however it doesn't as I can go to the login in page again.

Please could someone explain to me why and how it can be resolved.
