Doesn't show up under 'Other Devices'?

My LG G2 phone doesn't show up under other devices. For a while I couldn't find it until I finally did MTP when I plugged in my USB and after that it shows up under 'Portable Devices' and when I attempt to update the driver, it will always say it is up-to-date already and will not let me change anything. Since I can't update the driver, Android Studios wont recognize my device as plugged in...

What OS are you running?

Hey there Zack!

Do you know what driver you are using at the moment (i.e: Are you using the Google USB Driver or a driver from your manufacturer?)

Zack Price I meant what OS are you running on your development computer i.e. Are you using OSX, Windows, Linux?

What version of Windows are you running (e.g. Win9x, Win 2000, XP, etc)? that can make a difference as well.
