Done the design courses - What next?

So i'm about to finish the whole design tract (javascript -> technology foundations to go). I should be done in about a week, but I don't have a ton of interest in learning programming/backend development. I'd like to really focus on being the best I can be at HTML/CSS/jquery and design in general (photoshop,etc.). What should be next for me, does treehouse have more design classes/resources i'm not seeing? If not can you guys reccomend a good "next step" for me?

If you are looking for additional information to absorb check out the deep dives:

Of corse there is no substitution for real world experience. That doesn't mean you need to grab a client right off the bat though, set your self a brief or find a company or brand you like and see what you can improve about their current website, advertising, etc... I set myself a lot of personal projects in my down time. Personally it's something I love to do and it lets me express my creativity and learn without the stress of real world clients bothering me.

I know this is a old post but I was just searching for the same info and came across it so I thought I'd share my plans for having finished the Web Designer Adventure. In no particular order:

  • Photoshop Foundations
  • Learn WordPress
  • Technology Foundations
  • Careers Foundations
  • Copyright Basics
  • How to run a web design business
  • Accessibility

Yet to be released but on my agenda:

  • How to freelance
  • Usability Foundations

After I finish those my plan is to move up to a Gold membership and take advantage of the bonus content that looks pretty awesome.
