Don't know why i get the error message

In my code, the value assigned to fullName uses the method getFullName(). I dont know why i got the error message

structs.swift
struct Person {
    let firstName: String
    let lastName: String

func getFullName() -> (String)
  {
return "\(firstName) \(lastName)"
    }
}
let aPerson = Person(firstName: "Wei Jian", lastName: "Kong")
let fullName = aPerson.getFullName()

Hi there,

If you remove the brackets around the return type, that will work fine.

func getFullName() -> String { // no brackets

}

I hope that helps,

Steve.

Thanks. Works now. Not sure why i put brackets around the return type.

No problem - glad you got going again! :smile:
