PHP Integrating PHP with Databases Databases and PHP More Exceptions


Hi everybody! I have a big problem that i don't figured out. When i create

try{ $db=new PDO("sqlite:".DIR."/database.db"); echo "Connected!"; }catch(Exception $e){ echo "Unable to connect to the database!"; }

if the name of the fine in the second part after DIR is correct ....i can see connected....but if i put...A WRONG NAME FILE

try{ $db=new PDO("sqlite:".DIR."/datfe.db"); echo "Connected!"; }catch(Exception $e){ echo "Unable to connect to the database!"; }

Not go in the catch but he create another file in my dir.... with name datfe.db ...and the message in localhost is "Connected!".

What can I do .... And why is happen this? Thanks.
