dragging downloaded files over to the sidebar in workspaces

Hi, When i try to drag the downloaded files over to the sidebar in workspaces, nothing happens, but when I try using my own files/images it works. Does anyone else have the same problem?

I'm just checking some basics here. Have you extracted the files from the zip file? They will not upload if not extracted. Also, what happens if you click File->Upload?
