DreamHost's "Site not found" page is not appearing in Safari, is that okay?

When i tried to visit my website, i expected to get the page that Nick received and that is the the "Site not found" page. Instead safari says that the server is not found. Is this normal because that is Safari's way of saying that the server is running but there is no html? Or is there some kind of mistake i did during the domain registration process, because by account was pending at DreamHost?

I would check your dns settings with whoever is your registrar, it sounds like DNS is either not set up, or it's not propagated yet. If it just hasn't propagated, it can take a day or more to do so, and there is nothing you can do to speed that up.

You can get your DNS settings from your dreamhost account, and if you need help plugging them in to your domain registrar, their support should be able to show you were to do that.
