Hello guys,
I need help with my code. For some reason, the drop-down box is showing twice on my index.html page. It only shows once in other pages.

<script src="js/app.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
</body>
</html>
var $select = $("<select></select>");
$("#menu").append($select);
//Cycle over menu links
$("#menu a").each(function(){
var $anchor = $(this);
//Create an option
var $option = $("<option></option>");
//Option's value is the href
$option.val($anchor.attr("href"));
//Option's text is the text of link
$option.text($anchor.text());
//Append option to select
$select.append($option);
});

29,171 PointsIn the HTML there's a select element. In JavaScript, another select element is appended to the div.
var $select = $("<select></select>");
$("#menu").append($select);

8,816 PointsMake sense. Thought I needed to add the select element in my index.html page. I removed the select element to fix it. Thanks!
