8,816 PointsEmployee Widget Not Showing on the Page
Hey guys,
I have looked at my code and compared it to the code on the video, and they look identical or maybe I'm missing something? Please help a brother out. Thank you in advance!
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.onreadystatechange = function () {
if(xhr.readyState === 4) {
var employees = JSON.parse(xhr.responseText);
var statusHTML = '<ul class="bulleted">';
for (var i = 0; i < employees.length; i += 1) {
if (employees[i].inoffice === true) {
statusHTML += '<li class="in">';
} else {
statusHTML += '<li class="out">';
}
statusHTML += employees[i].name;
statusHTML += '</li>';
}
statusHTML += '</ul>';
document.getElementById('employeeList').innerHTML = statusHTML;
}
};
xhr.open('GET', 'data/employees.json');
xhr.send();

22,916 PointsHi Tim,
I copy/pasted your code into my own workspace and it shows up fine. There seems to be nothing wrong with your code.

8,816 PointsHi Elian,
As it turns out, my code was correct. I just have to move on to the next activity to finish up the widget. Thank you for your response. :)
