empty string given as argument for !character

I get this error when I execute the command SELECT * FROM. Anyone knows why? Imgur

If you are using later versions of MySQL Workbench you need to set treehouse_movie_db schema as default first

I wonder why TWO Mods took the trouble to come here and provide a useless answer, when the right one had already been provided...

You're missing the space between "SELECT" and "*".
