Emulator boot error Cold Boot: Host GPU has changed

Beginner developer having issues with the AVD in android studio.

  • Using Nexus 5x Virtual device While trying to run an app in the emulator, before the app even opens up i'm getting the error Cold Boot: Host gpu has changed. Once the virtual device is at the home screen a new error pops up System UI is not responding.

I'm attempting to load the first app in the teamtreebuilder track. The app is called "fun facts". It's a little frustrating because I am trying to fix the AVD more then im learning to code. Please help.

Thank you.
