Here is the error I get when I go to local host and click on testsite.com
"Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
Error 404
localhost Apache/2.4.10 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.1i PHP/5.6.3
In this instance after clicking on the testsite.com link the address bar for this error says "localhost/xampp/
Also getting a different error when I click on localwp.com
"Error establishing a database connection"
here the address bar says "localhost/localwp.com

33,856 PointsHi Niger, make sure you don't have Skype running. I think it uses the same port as XAMPP. Also, see if you followed the steps listed here for your database.
