Error in Go tutorial: Why can't I load package "main"?

CONSOLE INPUT: $ go build hello.go
CONSOLE OUTPUT: can't load package: package main:
hello.go:1:1: expected 'package', found 'EOF'

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Thanks Kris. I realize it wasn't working because I didn't hit "save". Oops!! All good now.
