2,681 PointsError Messages With FileZilla
I am on the Famous 5 Minute WordPress Install part of the WordPress track and it asked me to intall FileZilla. I did exactly how it said to download it, but when I open the program I get many error messages:
Error writing xml file could not write "/user/joshleider/.config/filezilla/layout.xml": failed to write xml file
I cannot find any good support for this online. What should I do.
*Note I tried to user cyber duck and I am getting the "530 Login authentication failed." with that program.
PLEASE HELP!

13,116 PointsHi Josh, try checking this out it might help -failed to load filezilla.xml on OSX. If you are not on OSX or linux, but on windows you can try running filezilla as administrator and see if that helps.

13,116 PointsI didn't assume you are technical, that is why I also explained that if you are on windows you can run it as administrator to make things easier for you. To do that you just right click and select, run as administrator, but if you are using linux or OSX it is not as simple to do it, so those guidelines help on that.
